Cardiac Imaging Specialist
Sutter Health is seeking a Cardiac Imaging Specialist to perform 2-D M-mode and cardiac Doppler, exercise echo and TEE procedures, and assist in preparation of contrast studies.
The role involves entering charges for services, preparing reports, and providing after hours and weekend coverage on a rotational basis.
The ideal candidate should hold an AA degree from an approved school of Cardiovascular Technology and have a minimum of one year of experience as a Cardiology technician in Cardiac and / or Echocardiography service.
Certification in BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider, and RCS-Registered Cardiac Sonographer preferred.
Other requirements include :
- Demonstrated knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, pathophysiology, electrophysiology, and congential anatomies
- Expertise in echocardiographic techniques and modalities
- Effective communication with patients and staff at all levels
- Strong commitment to customer service
- Ability to handle stress and adapt quickly to changing situations
- Must be able to observe department dress code and standards and consistently wear identification badge
This is a part-time position with varied shift hours and occasional weekend requirements. The pay range for this position is $64.
