Details : Use AutoCAD 3D and would prefer E3D / PDMS experience. This is long-term and onsite only with a flexible work schedule.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Perform the necessary fieldwork, pulling measurements, locating tie-ins, as-building existing systems, develop detailed scopes.
- Work from P&ID's, client specifications and vendor data to design complex piping systems for chemical facility.
- Create isometrics, pipe supports.
- Ensures that completed design is functional, maintainable, and designed with safety and that all applicable codes have been followed and maintain.
- Interface with other disciplines
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable in the design and layout of process piping and equipment with 5 -7years of experience preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD 3D or MicroStation, E3D or PDMS is preferred.
- Must have extensive fieldwork experience in chemical, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
- Some work may require working at heights above 6 feet, climbing stairs, ladders, scaffolding, and man-lifts.
- Physical Requirements
- Work is located at a chemical plant and requires exposure to ambient temperature extremes.
- Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as fire-retardant clothing, hearing and eye protection, hard hat, and steel-toed boots.
- Day-to-day physical requirements involve standard office activities including sitting / standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20lbs frequently.
- Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking upstairs.
- May require walking the plant property.
