Part Time Bookkeeper
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team on a contract basis in Santa Rosa, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and supporting the overall financial health of our organization. This is a three-month contract position with flexible hours, ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping expertise and familiarity with QuickBooks.
Responsibilities :
- Record and manage deposits, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Match vendor invoices and payments to maintain organized financial records.
- Assist in managing accounts receivable, ensuring no accounts exceed 60 days overdue.
- Process credit card transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Support bank reconciliation tasks to ensure financial account accuracy.
- Collaborate with the team to provide financial reports and insights as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Optionally assist with payroll management using Paychex, if experienced.
Requirements :
Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a part-time or contract capacity.Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial data and reports.Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Demonstrated ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Familiarity with credit card processing and financial recordkeeping.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Experience with payroll systems, such as Paychex, is a plus.
