The Director of Corporate Marketing is responsible for the development and delivery of marketing plans and strategies designed to grow revenues for various divisions as assigned.

This positionplans, organizes, directs, and provides the leadership to achieve the short and long-range business brand and marketing objectives for the division, selects market-driven initiatives and supports the team functions.

This individual directs and manages a team of senior and middle-level marketing professionals dedicated to developing and implementing strategic marketing programs which align with the division(s) annual business objectives, growth targets and revenue / profit objectives.

The Director of Corporate Marketing will provide marketing experience and direction to drive long-term profitable growth and increasing levels of customer satisfaction.

In addition, this individual manages key line of business relationships, programs / projects, advances the digital marketing road map for the division, and oversees integrated marketing budgets, including production, design, and project costs.

How You'll Spend Your Time

You will develop appropriate annual strategic marketing plans and drive calendars, including budgets and manpower requirements to comply with supporting the divisions marketing needs in line with the business line / market requirements.

Work directly with the assigned division’s leadership team. This position will evaluate and refine current marketing strategies and translate customer input directly into specific operating goals and deliverables.

You will direct a staff of senior professionals, including Sr. Marketing Managers and Marketing Managers; exercise usual authority of a manager including on-boarding, performance appraisals, salary recommendations, coaching and corrective action.

Communicate directives from upper management to staff and translate into action items and ensure compliance to all regulations, policies and procedures.

You will ensure brand consistency standards, brand direction and legal / compliance standards are followed; develop and maintain contacts within the advertising, media and supplier community.

Develop metrics and reporting systems to assure tracking of advertising, channel, product and customer initiatives.

You will manage, develop and execute (including writing and editing copy) for broadcast (radio), print (newspaper ads, direct mail, brochures and promotional materials) and digital (online, Internet).

Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, external agencies and vendors.

  • You will ensure cost effectiveness; direct and participate in the creative process and the development of all advertising programs (including digital, social, broadcast, print).
  • You will provide senior leadership with insight on market trends and competitive position Identify, develop, and implement revisions of internal standards, policies, operating procedures, and new programs to improve efficiency;

provide clear and concise written guidelines and procedures.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration and 7 10 years of directly related experience in marketing and / or advertising or equivalent combination of education and experience.

MBA preferred, but not required. This individual will manage a team which may consist of any combination of Marketing Specialist, Marketing Manager, and Senior Marketing Manager.

  • Outstanding strategic thinking skills
  • Background in a digital-driven financial services or retail space preferred.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of advanced marketing principles and practices, including new media and digital.
  • Results-oriented, data-driven marketer with proven success in digital strategy and implementation
  • Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow, LTV and retention
  • Understanding client research and developing and connecting Omni-channel experiences and journeys.
  • Building brand awareness and positioning
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing new products and marketing strategies
  • Experience driving growth along with the demonstrate ability to deliver results in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to influence and gain credibility with experts across all business functions
  • Supporting sales and lead generation efforts
  • Knowledge of banking products and services
  • Outstanding organizational and project coordination skills
  • Excellent oral / written communication, interpersonal, and leadership presentation skills
  • Excellent PC skills to include spreadsheets and word-processing skills
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles for budget management
