Job Description

David Weekley Homes is looking for a problem-solving people-person to join our Help Desk team! We support all Team Members on internal business systems as well as common computer hardware and software.

Key Accountabilities and objectives : (including, but not limited to) :

  • Computer and business systems support for every Team Member
  • Makes sure that customers are kept up to date on their service calls
  • Communicate and work to resolve, Team Members’ service calls in a professional and accurate way
  • Learn and support the company's business systems
  • Assure that the quality of support meets department's expectations
  • Look for ways to improve support process
  • Resolve customers’ support issues in a timely manner
  • Work effectively with programmers, business analysts and systems engineers in the department to communicate issues and fixes for systems

Job Requirements :

We need an outgoing personality who works well with others, is enthusiastic, motivated, has integrity and professionalism.

The successful candidate will have some exposure to computer support and have a proven background in supporting business systems.

This person will need to demonstrate proven customer service examples in their background.

Technical Requirements :

  • Solid skills in Microsoft Software including Office and Windows
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve common computer hardware and software issues
  • Active Directory setting up user accounts, managing groups and share permissions
  • Cisco VoIP phone system for creation of new phones, extensions and voicemailboxes

The ideal candidate should possess these characteristics :

  • Performed in a previous customer service role
  • Previous experience with supporting business systems is a plus
  • Considerable initiative and drive. Self-starter / motivated
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Able to balance multiple and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to listen
  • Driven to push to meet company service requirements
  • Able to see the Big Picture while maintaining focus on the day-to-day details that result in a high level of service
  • Positive attitude
  • Team player
  • Detail Oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
