Benefits Specialist

Beacon Hill is hiring! We have partnered with a religious based organization in downtown Chicago in hiring for a Benefits Specialist to start immediately. This role will handle day-to-day benefits administration, assist employees with general benefit inquiries, ensure accuracy through audits, and support special projects and new program implementation. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and skilled in HRIS systems as well as Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans.

Respond to general benefits-related questions from employees in a timely and professional manner.

Perform audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Partner with the Benefits Manager on special projects and rollout of new programs.

Maintain and update benefits information within the HRIS system.

Prepare reports and provide data analysis related to benefits utilization and trends.

Assist with benefits-related communications, open enrollment, and vendor coordination.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local benefits regulations.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in employee benefits administration.

Proficiency in

Microsoft Word and Excel ; strong analytical and reporting skills.

Experience working with

HRIS systems , preferably UKG.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage audits and data accuracy.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
