Job Description :
The Administrative Assistant I provides administrative support to the ACPS Safety and Security Services Division ; managing the divisions procurement process by getting quotes, submitting requisitions, and processing invoices; assisting with the management of the key card access program; establishing and maintaining records; compiling and distributing materials and reports; and responding to inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources. This is a Casual position, based out of ACPS Central Office.
Qualifications :
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience : Job related experience within specialized field with increasing levels of responsibility required. 2 years perferred.
- Licenses & Certifications : None Required
Essential Functions :
Coordinates schedules, meetings and activities for the purpose of supporting division staff with operational activities.Maintains a wide variety of files and records (manual / computer; confidential / non-confidential) for the purpose of providing documentation in accordance with administrative and legal requirements.Monitors assigned division activities and / or program components (e.g. travel arrangements and reimbursements, meetings and events, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring that goals are achieved, target dates are met and financial, legal and / or administrative requirements are satisfied.Supports assigned division personnel for the purpose of providing assistance with administrative functions.Clearances :
Criminal Justice Fingerprint / Background Clearance.Tuberculosis Skin Test.Public Health Compliance
