Accounts Payable Specialist

FlexStaff is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for one of our clients. Accounts Payable Specialists will be responsible for specific tasks / projects and activities within Accounts Payable and Procurement. They will utilize OCR and ERP systems to perform duties and responsibilities including review and process invoices. They will assist with vendor set up in ERP system and assist with weekly settlement run, analyze and review for accuracy. They will review invoices paperwork in detail to ensure appropriate documentation is submitted for approval prior to payment. They will monitor and respond to AP group emails in a timely manner and assist in internal and external audit activities and preparing responses to auditors. They will assist with ad-hoc projects as assigned and build and maintain positive internal and external relationships while researching and resolving invoicing issues. They will prioritize and organize tasks; manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines. They will perform other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by Supervisor / Manager and assist with day to day procurement activities. They will communicate regularly with suppliers and internal / external customers for any inquiries and account reconciliations. They will ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes to ensure accurate and timely deliverables. They will be adaptable to new responsibilities and embrace teamwork with a positive mindset.

Qualifications : Associate Degree preferred or 2 years experience in a business environment. 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable. Experience with ERP AR systems such as Workday. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. The salary range for this position is $31 / hour.
