Senior Accountant

A large company in Rockville is seeking a senior accountant for a long-term project. Some of their general responsibilities include :

• Preparing financial statements
• Maintaining and reconciling accounts
• Month / year-end close
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
• Ensuring all accounting tasks and financial records comply with generally accepted accounting principles

Requirements : Senior accountants with 5+ years of general ledger experience, analytical and advanced Microsoft Office skills will be considered. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required and Certified Public Accountant / CPA credentials are preferred.
