Job Summary :

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, market share, and brand awareness across the company's extended stay and select service hotels. This leader will oversee all aspects of sales and marketing initiatives while collaborating closely with property leadership and corporate support teams to ensure alignment with company goals.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that maximize revenue and profitability for all hotels in the portfolio.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the corporate and property-level sales and marketing teams to achieve performance goals and maintain high standards of excellence.
  • Collaborate with operations and revenue management to ensure effective pricing, distribution, and yield management strategies.
  • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and business channels to expand the company's reach and client base.
  • Oversee the company's brand strategy, digital presence, and reputation management across online and offline channels.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales productivity, marketing effectiveness, and ROI on promotional campaigns.
  • Partner with leadership on new hotel openings, rebranding, and repositioning projects.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, travel partners, and brand representatives to drive preferred business and group bookings.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards and leverage brand resources effectively to enhance property visibility and performance.
  • Prepare annual sales and marketing budgets, forecasts, and business plans in alignment with company objectives.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Required Skills :

  • Strong background in hospitality sales, preferably extended stay and select service
  • Proven leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent selling skills and understanding of sales processes
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

  • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive sales and marketing leadership experience in hospitality, with multi-property (including Hilton, IHG, and Marriott) required.
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and leading successful teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM, revenue management, sales analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Interacts with management, applicants, fellow Associates and / or guests.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and coworkers.
  • Requires prolonged standing, walking and mobility.
  • Requires bending and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
  • Position Type / Work Hours

  • This is a full-time position.
  • The employee is expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends.
  • Travel

  • The employee will be required to travel (including overnight) up to but not limited to 70% of the time.
