The program is located in the James L. Voss Veterinary Teaching Hospital ( VTH ) in Fort Collins, Colorado, with an annual caseload of nearly 40,000.

The CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital is a progressive and collaborative workplace with 28 veterinary specialties and dedicated residents, students, and technologists working towards a common goal.

The surgery faculty have the opportunity to collaborate with faculty at both the Colorado State University Flint Animal Cancer Center and the Translational Medicine Institute.

Cutting edge surgical instrumentation includes 5 complete STORZ towers for laparoscopy and thoracoscopy including a 3D camera and the 3D IMAGE1 STM RUBINATM system allowing for ICG imaging for fluorescence guided surgery.

Use of a hybrid OR with intraoperative fluoroscopy is available. Abundant diagnostic imaging resources including CT, MRI , PET -CT, ultrasonography and fluoroscopy are available.
