Job Summary :
Agape Senior Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Care Professional to join our Dane County team.
As a SenIor Care Professional for our agency, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and assistance to elderly and disabled clients in the comfort of their own homes.
This individual contributor role offers a flexible schedule and competitive compensation rates.
Compensation & Benefits :
The Senior Care Professional will receive a competitive hourly rate of $18 to $22, paid biweekly.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work a flexible schedule that fits their availability.
We offer ongoing training and support to help you excel in their role.
Responsibilities :
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting to clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living including meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of services provided and any changes in a client's condition
- Communicate regularly with clients' families and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Adhere to all agency policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Requirements :
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Passion for providing high-quality care to elderly and disabled individuals
- Must be able to work independently and handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
