We’re looking for a hardworking maintenance technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly.

$16 - $18 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs
- Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
- Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed
- Handle additional maintenance tasks as needed
- Record when any equipment was serviced and repairs were made
- Perform basic maintenance and service for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance, and mechanical repairs in residential apartment units
- Promptly answer resident service calls and perform repairs in a timely fashion
- Interact politely and professionally with apartment tenants, outside vendors / contractors, and coworkers
- Complete all assigned maintenance work on vacant apartments for unit turns and make ready activities
- Perform various preventative maintenance measures
- Respond to on-call / after hour emergency maintenance requests / work orders
- Maintain community grounds
- Paint units
- Clean carpets
Qualifications :
- Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
- Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests
- Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
- Must have graduated from high school / received GED or equivalent
- Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
- Ability to easily get to and from work
- Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
- Proficient in using email, text, and phone communications
