Senior Accountant
ABOUT THE POSITION
This role will lead the accounting function across all affiliated companies. This role will also assist in a variety of areas within the department.
In addition to standard accounting tasks, they will help with internal auditing and controls, and make suggestions to improve processes and internal reporting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare financial statements of affiliated companies for Controller review.
- Includes journal entries, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
- Project cost accounting for monthly revenue recognition and variance analysis.
- Work with management company to gather necessary information to prepare real estate financial statements.
- Assist with month-end close, account reconciliations and various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Coordinate periodic testing and review of internal controls and risk areas.
- Assist Controller with various analysis of GL / ERP activity.
- Assist with annual audit and reports needed for annual tax filings.
