Summary
The Director of Healthcare Policy and Strategy will lead efforts in navigating the complex healthcare policy environment, ensuring that strategic initiatives are aligned with current regulations and future trends.
This role will focus on analyzing healthcare policies, identifying strategic opportunities, and advising on compliance and best practices without a specific focus on facilities management or development.
Key Responsibilities
Policy Analysis and Strategic Insight : Monitor and analyze healthcare policies, regulations, and trends that could impact the healthcare real estate market.
Provide strategic insights to guide the company's investment and development strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure that business strategies adhere to healthcare-related regulations and policies at the federal, state, and local levels, focusing on aspects that influence real estate investment and management in the healthcare sector.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans that leverage policy insights to position the company for growth and innovation in the healthcare real estate market.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare and real estate sectors, including government agencies, industry associations, and healthcare providers, to stay ahead of policy changes and market trends.
- Advisory and Leadership : Serve as the primary advisor on healthcare policy and strategy for senior management, ensuring informed decision-making and strategic alignment across the company.
- Market Intelligence : Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in the healthcare real estate sector, focusing on policy implications and strategic responses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Public Policy, Health Administration, Real Estate, or a related field, with a significant focus on healthcare policy.
- 8+ years of experience in a policy analysis, strategic planning, or consultancy role, preferably with a focus on healthcare or real estate sectors.
- Deep understanding of healthcare policy, regulatory environments, and their impact on real estate markets.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate policy insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with experience influencing policy decisions and strategic directions.
- Proven leadership and advisory capabilities, with a track record of guiding senior management in complex decision-making processes.
