Full-Time | Onsite Leadership Role | $130,000–$160,000 per year (total compensation)
Position Overview
Autism Center of Excellence is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst to step into a leadership role as Associate Clinical Director at our Durham clinic. This position supports clinical quality, staff development, and family experience within a collaborative, in-person setting. Working closely with regional and clinic leadership, the Associate Clinical Director helps ensure that ABA services are delivered with consistency, professionalism, and adherence to AutismCOE’s standards.
This is a full-time, onsite position with a total compensation range of $130,000–$160,000 per year , inclusive of base salary and performance-based bonus opportunities.

Primary ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Oversight
Provide structured guidance to BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and Behavior TechniciansSupport treatment plan development, clinical decision-making, and problem-solvingPartner with regional leadership on clinic initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and operational alignmentAssist with case allocation, coverage planning, and treatment consistencyStaff Development
Mentor clinicians and support their professional growthConduct observations, provide feedback, and participate in performance discussionsLead in-service training and participate in teamwide education effortsFamily Partnership
Collaborate with caregivers to support treatment goals and generalizationCommunicate clearly and consistently about progress, expectations, and next stepsRepresent AutismCOE’s commitment to compassionate, child-centered careQuality Assurance

Active BCBA certificationLicensed Behavior Analyst ( LBA ) in North Carolina, or eligible for licensureExperience supervising clinical teams and supporting treatment planningStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to model professionalism and support a positive clinic cultureComfortable working collaboratively with leadership and clinical teamsOrganized and dependable with a commitment to service excellenceCompensation & Benefits

Requirements
At least 3 years of BCBA experience is requiredBCBA Certification : Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, per BACB guidelinesMaster’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related fieldExperience working with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilitiesPassionate about clinical quality and client progress to drive decision-making and best practicesExceptional skillset with leadership, time management, and observationStrong analytical thinker who is data-driven and client-centeredEffective Collaborator and team player, who is empathetic and culturally competentProtect clients’ rights and privacy according to HIPAA regulationsRequirements
