Job Description : Join our dedicated team in Daly City, CA, as a Speech Language Pathologist, with options to work full-time or part-time.
This position is designed for an SLP who is committed to improving communication skills and academic success for students in a supportive school setting.
Responsibilities :
- Evaluate and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEP) tailored to student needs.
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt interventions as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to create a nurturing and effective educational environment.
Qualifications :
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or a related field.
- Valid California SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a school setting is advantageous but not essential; newcomers are also encouraged to apply.
