Requirements / Essential Types of Duties
- Great classroom management skills
- Someone who can multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Love for teaching and connecting students with careers.
- Tech savvy to be able to operate simulators, troubleshoot problems and navigate online curriculum.
- Construction experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- A love for learning new things and has the drive and excitement about starting a new program / pathway in Hall County.
- Someone who can be vocal and a passionate CHAMPION for the Heavy Equipment Operator program.
- A current teacher up for a new challenge knowing they will be % trained!
- Someone who has the physical strength to change out the pods and pedals on the simulators to go from excavator to dozer with no problem.
