This position is located at141 Storage Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.Duties include working with families and providers to develop functional Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), work with multidisciplinary teams to determine families' needs for supports and services, conduct home visits, coordinate and facilitate services and transition planning, and participate in the authorization and monitoring of early intervention services.E ffective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. Management Preference Thorough knowledge of the concepts, practices, and techniques of the field of early childhood developmental disabilities and infant mental health, including assessments and development of comprehensive treatment plans. Skill in developing, writing and documenting child progress in individualized family service plans Ability to coordinate and instruct staff, family members and care providers in carrying out methods and techniques utilized in developmental disabilities and infant and child mental health and family studies field Ability to establish rapport and relate to clients, families, community agencies and groups and a variety of service disciplines
