Overview

Join to apply for the IT Support Specialist role at tesa . The IT Support Specialist will provide comprehensive technical support to all company employees in a dynamic production environment at our manufacturing facility in Sparta. Our mission is to create sustainable adhesive solutions that improve the work, products, and lives of our customers were passionate about making a difference!

How Youll Help The Formula

Responsibilities

Provide quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
Install, configure, and repair computer hardware, software, and related devices.
Schedule and perform maintenance, repairs, and upgrades of end user equipment.
Responsible for inventory of computer related hardware and accessories.
Ensure proper routing and escalation of Service Desk tickets.
Keep current on new technology that may be applicable within the organization.
Perform other tasks as assigned by IT Management.
Provide after-hours or weekend support during critical incidents or scheduled maintenance windows (as needed).
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Associates degree required; Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent experience.

CompTIA A+, Network+, or a comparable certification (required within 6 months of hire).

Minimum 2 years in PC hardware / software installation, maintenance, and support, particularly in Microsoft Windows environments.

Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP / IP, DNS, and DHCP.

Self-starter with the ability to work independently under general supervision.

Proven experience contributing to team success.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. English required; Spanish or German is a plus.

Valid drivers license and willingness to travel, including internationally (up to 10%).
