Accountant I

Accountant responsibilities may include performing monthly balancing and reconciliations and preparing invoices and customer purchase statements for settlement. Complete inter-company transactions and settlements and utilize SAP for journal entries, accruals, netbacks, and physical inventories tie-in.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts.

Provide accounting support and analysis for closing / F&PA.

Prepare regulatory reporting.

Special projects related to crude supply and trading.

Qualifications basic / required :

• Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Experience in an accounting or finance related role
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• High level of initiative, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision in an open trade floor environment
• Additional hours may be required during financial close and settlement
