Your Team :
The Division of Human Resources, led by the Assistant Commissioner of HR for the Department of Housing Preservation and Development, works closely with all offices to achieve the agency's mission. The Division of Human Resources includes the following operational units :
Your Impact :
As the Payroll Associate for the Division of Human Resources, you will be responsible for processing pay for the agency's staff, ensure adherence to established agency guidelines, rules / regulations, policy and procedures. Your Role : Payroll Associate will manage variety of special project, handle the more complex payroll data issues, and ensure on-going collaborative relationship with division liaisons. Your role will be to make sure of each employee paid properly. Report unclaimed checks to Manager in a timely manner. Handle the more complex payroll calculation of payment, ensuring data accuracy

Qualifications
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
3. Education and / or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.
