The Director Of Marketing And Communications For Children's Programs Supports Internal And External Communications As Well As Recruitment / Admissions Marketing Work For The Bank Street School For Children, After School, Family Center, And Summer Camp. Salary Range : $95,000 - $115,000 Annually.
Core Functions And Responsibilities :
Strategic Oversight & Collaboration
- Oversee and support internal communications for the Dean's Office
- Collaborate closely with the central Communications Team to support marketing and recruitment needs for the School for Children, Family Center, and Summer Camp
- Work with the central Development teams on special events and event marketing
- Work with the central IT team to utilize existing systems and develop solutions for any emerging needs that can enhance marketing and communications at the School
Digital & Web Management
Manage and maintain the SFC and Family Center websites and virtual toursManage the parent portal in Blackbaud, including Newsfeed and Resource Board contentManage social media for the School for ChildrenEmail & CRM Strategy
Coordinate with IT and manage, and implement automatic email workflows and individual variations in HubSpot and Blackbaud CRMsAdvertising & Campaigns
Manage relationships with third-party marketing agencies, keeping projects accountable, on schedule, on brand, and on budgetUsing data to inform improvements to marketing / recruitment strategy for each admissions cycleManage the School for Children's social media accountCreative & Content Development
Manage promotional materials across print, digital, video, and event-related needsDevelop creative guidelines and maintain Bank Street style and editorial standardsDesign graphics, event posters, digital newsletters, and presentation materialsPhotograph programs for marketing materialsCoordinate with videographer to develop marketing videos for digital campaigns, including Teachers, Changemakers, Bank Street College, and Early ChildhoodEdit communications from the Dean's Office to ensure clarity and consistencyWork with the School for Children community to design and run the Spirit StoreMessaging & Brand Voice
Develop and manage messaging for the School for Children, Family Center, After School, and Summer CampCapture the processes of discovery and design to ensure strategies remain authenticQualifications
Bachelor's degree5 years of experience in marketing, including management responsibilitiesExperience with web design and website maintenanceExperience in sales, marketing in an educational settingExperience with New York independent schoolsExperience with WordPress, HubSpot, and BlackbaudKnowledge of social networks, online advertising, and promotionsSelf-starter with the ability to work independentlySkills
