Logistics Technician I
The logistics technician position is responsible for maintaining a professional appearance and knowledge of materials delivered to the customer. The employee will safely drive and handle all materials in accordance with the company standards of service. This position is also responsible for various duties related to the handling of materials in the warehouse. This position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

Minimum Qualifications :
- Associate's Degree, but BA / BS preferred
- Class E driver's license

Operates in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday.Routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Routinely use standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.Requires the ability to lift / move packages greater than 50 pounds on a regular basisSupervisory Responsibilities : No
Essential Job Functions :
Deliver company materials to customers in a professional mannerEffectively and professionally meet and communicate with the publicDrive, automatic / manual transmission vehicle (safely & legally, with driving record which meets company standards)Shipping and receiving duties including loading and unloading trucksRead customer orders to determine items to be picked, packed, and distributed or shipped / transferred. Work and ship orders.Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequenceAssemble customer orders from stock, and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping departmentUse computer and RF guns to manage sales orders, inventory, and enter information into business management systemParticipate in cycle counting of physical inventoryOpen boxes and other containersOperate wire cutter to cut wire according to customer ordersOperate forklift in warehouse settingSweep, dust and mop. Compensation Range : The compensation range for this position is $18 to $22 hourly.
