OUTPATIENT CLINICIAN
Compensation for this position is very competitive. Either FFS or salaried positions available. We are an Outpatient Mental Health and Substance Abuse Treatment Clinic specializing in treating individuals with Substance Use Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other co-occurring disorders.
Main responsibilities : Intake and diagnostic evaluation Biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plan and goals Must be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Treatment of a diverse population dealing with Substance Abuse Disorder and Co-occurring Disorders Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to interact compassionately and appropriately with patients on a regular basis, treating all with dignity and respect Strong assessment and treatment skills The following are the job requirements for the Outpatient Clinician position : Masters Degree in Social Work / Counseling with appropriate licensure Experience preferred working with a diverse population Experience preferred in treating Substance Abuse Disorder and Strong assessment and treatment skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to set priorities. Ability to meet deadlines and accomplish assigned paperwork responsibilities Exemplary professionalism with respect to confidentiality.
Strong interpersonal skills enabling effective team collaboration (a sense of humor is an asset) Demonstrates ability to understand the role of social worker in a complex, fast-paced outpatient environment.
