The Challenge : We are seeking a Senior AI Transformation Engineer to lead the modernization of our core Java, Spring, AWS, and Kafka-based architecture by embedding next-generation AI / ML capabilities into our advertising technology platforms. This role requires a senior resource with over 3 years of hands-on AI / ML experience and a strong background in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and large-scale data platforms. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in re-architecting legacy services, integrating AI models into production pipelines, and driving intelligent automation across our ad-serving, targeting, personalization, and real-time bidding systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the embedding of AI / ML models into existing Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka-based services.
- Transform monolithic and microservice architectures to leverage intelligent decision-making at scale.
- Build scalable inference pipelines on AWS using managed ML services, custom models, and MLOps best practices.
- Design and implement high-performance, low-latency solutions for ad targeting, recommendation, and personalization.
- Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize models into production.
- Integrate AI into real-time data streams using Kafka and event-driven design.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for AI transformation initiatives.
- Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering leadership to define the AI strategy for our advertising platforms.
- Mentor junior engineers in AI / ML adoption and best practices.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.7+ years of software engineering experience with Java, Spring, Kafka, and AWS.3+ years of hands-on AI / ML experience (model development, integration, and deployment).Expertise in building production-grade, scalable systems integrating ML models.Strong knowledge of MLOps pipelines, model lifecycle management, and monitoring.Experience in advertising technology (e.g., RTB, DSP, SSP, targeting, personalization) strongly preferred.Preferred :
Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch).Knowledge of reinforcement learning, recommendation systems, or NLP applied to AdTech.Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable AI deployments.Strong understanding of data privacy, compliance, and responsible AI in advertising contexts.Seniority level
