Position Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring that inventory is effectively and accurately received, stocked, tracked, monitored, and available throughout the entire ClearCaptions supply chain. In addition to traditional warehousing and order fulfillment at our 3PL partner locations, this also includes the inventory management of all phones located in forward stocking sales locations, in use by customers, and phones being returned from the field to be restocked, dispositioned into alternate conditional grades, or wasted. A significant focus for this position will be the use of analytical methods and tools to understand, report, improve, and control all aspects of inventory operations and processes. To this end, this will include the development and documentation of inventory processes and systems with our 3PL partner sites where they do not exist and to enhance inventory processes and systems for improved efficiency and control. In addition to these routine responsibilities, this individual will also be responsible for data management, performance analysis, problem identification, and development of recommendations that align with business goals and strategies. This position is a remote / work from home position and will report directly to the Director of Supply Chain & Logistics.

What You Will Do :

  • Responsible for the day to day and tactical activities needed to manage the inventory through out the 3PL locations in the USA, including in transit from the factory.
  • Manages, facilitates, and implements inventory process development and process improvement initiatives throughout the domestic 3PL partner network.
  • Develops key process indicators (KPI's) measurements and monitoring for inventory processes to ensure performance to standards.
  • Leads inventory process standardization and documentation activities.
  • Communicates and actively manages inventory levels / aging / issue identification / issue resolution with the Sales department (field, customer support, and concierge).
  • Collaborate with business partners to build and improve logistics and overall work process effectiveness and efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business or related discipline.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing business international and domestic logistics and order fulfillment.
  • Experience leading Continuous Process Improvement and Focused Improvement initiatives.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in ambiguous situations.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and accurately perform assigned duties.
  • Able to work as a team player among a fast-paced operations environment with constant interruptions.
  • An experience of working directly with sales representatives and sales support operations will be a plus.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains and Salesforce.com is strongly desired.
  • Respectful and outstanding leadership skills that motivate colleagues to focus their energy on achieving business goals.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and tactical operational levels.
  • Works to achieve goals while overcoming obstacles and / or planning for contingencies.

  • Willingness and ability to work flexible hours and travel (up to 20%); will include some overnight travel.
  • Proficient in MS Office, modern communication tools for virtual teams (i.e., MS Teams)
  • Physical Requirements :

    Employees may experience the following physical demands for extended periods of time :

  • Keyboarding (100%)
  • Viewing computer monitor, tablet and cell phone screen requiring close vision (100%)
  • Work Environment :

    Work environment is at home and warehouse location. Some travel to company, customer, and vendor sites, including some that are out of state, may be required. Up to 20%.

    Compensation :

    $90,000 to $104,000 plus 5% bonus determined by competitive market analysis and internal equity considerations. Final compensation will be based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and business needs.
