Machine Operator - 3rd Shift

Primarily responsible for producing an entire customer transaction from digital receipt of data to mailing completed transactions, including file preparation, printing, assembling and mail prep.

To operate all equipment engaged in the process which requires a high level of technical competency. Interchangeably for all plant functions including some level of material movement, storage and production.

Essential Position Responsibilities : Regular attendance is an essential function of this job Interpret internal work order and specification sheet instructions Mechanical set-up of inserter and printer machines Loading and unloading of materials / stock at the inserter machine and printer Operate two to three high-speed devices at one time Diagnose, adjust and repair mechanical failures as they occur on all equipment Completing all training required by the company Periodic balancing of mail piece sequence to the work order for accuracy Operating of auxiliary software and tracking tools Maintain quality standards based on the company’s Quality Management System All other duties as assigned Essential skills and experience : High School Diploma or GED;

or one to three months related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Basic math skills : add, subtract, multiply and divide Ability to read, write and interpret the English language (customer data, instructions, manuals and procedures) Ability to lift 55 pounds regularly as well as manually move paper stock weighing up to 800 lbs.
