We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Talent Sourcer, Market Intelligence to lead advanced sourcing initiatives and talent market analysis across Microsoft's Corporate Functions Talent Acquisition team. This role requires deep expertise in talent intelligence, labor market insights, and competitive intelligence to inform and execute differentiated sourcing strategies that align with business priorities. The candidate will leverage external and internal data to identify talent pools, assess market feasibility, and uncover competitive trends. You will design and implement sourcing strategies that go beyond traditional methods—using intelligence to anticipate and track talent movement, research competitors and industry trends, and optimize our location strategies. Responsibilities
- Candidate Assessment & Screening : Drives the adoption of the candidate assessment framework and identifies, adopts, and evangelizes best practices to ensure high-quality hires, scalability, and process improvements. Manages candidate screening framework and supports inclusive screening processes and a qualified talent pool; executes initial screening and assesses candidates; influences inclusive selection decisions and the consumption of diverse talent.
- Candidate Attraction : Uses deep knowledge of market opportunities to differentiate Microsoft's career possibilities and rewards, creates on-brand attraction campaigns with talent marketing, and works with hiring managers to develop a compelling, consistent message aligned to hiring needs and candidate aspirations. Shares methodologies and partnerships to help others source, recruit, and close candidates; analyzes output quality and develops learning resources for GTA teams.
- Candidate Experience : Gathers requirements and develops hiring plans for complex or high-volume searches; owns and enhances the candidate experience throughout the hiring lifecycle; ensures operational excellence by managing candidates in the ATS.
- Data Analysis & Hiring Plans : Reviews market data to identify trends, connects data to cross-organization goals, and leads hiring plans addressing business demand and talent availability across divisions and regions.
- Market Analysis and Channel Insights : Performs deep analysis of external market data to provide market and channel insights and drive talent acquisition initiatives.
- Operational Compliance & Excellence : Maintains documentation of candidates' qualifications and status within compliance guidelines; supports adherence to staffing policies and guides stakeholders on compliance impact.
- Stakeholder / Client Engagement : Advises on talent needs and communicates business priorities; presents differentiated talent options and develops end-to-end hiring plans with senior stakeholders.
- Talent Sourcing : Builds long-term relationships with talent pools and develops multi-channel pipeline strategies to meet hiring demand; creates reports with market intelligence to inform sourcing strategies.
- Workforce Analysis : Assesses talent / diversity gaps and hiring needs; presents findings and recommends hiring plans to leadership.
- Other : Embodies Microsoft culture and values.

Required / minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years of talent acquisition experience (recruiting, sourcing), HR experience, or related industry experienceOR equivalent experience4+ years of talent and market intelligence experienceAdditional Or Preferred Qualifications

There is a different range for specific work locations (San Francisco Bay Area and New York City) as detailed by Microsoft.
