JOB SUMMARY

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and minor building maintenance. Ensuring safe and efficient building operations while assisting maintenance mechanics in routine troubleshooting and repairs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs basic preventative maintenance and routine repairs on various in-house systems to include conveyor, material handling equipment, tagging machines, storage equipment, vehicles, etc.

Assists in troubleshooting and lubricates, adjusts and replaces parts.

Performs maintenance services in two or more skill areas, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical, heating, etc.

may perform basic maintenance duties such as minor construction, landscaping, cleaning, etc.

Assists maintenance mechanics in major equipment repairs, electrical repairs and installations in accordance with established safety procedures.

Requisitions new supplies and equipment as necessary.

Performs special projects or duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum High School Diploma or higher
• Vocational training in basic preventative maintenance is preferred
• Six months to one year experience in a preventative maintenance capacity with demonstrated mechanical knowledge
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Be flexible with changing hours, demands, and priorities

This position has a starting pay range of $ - $ per hour based on education and experience, with an additional $ shift differential pay.

Shift for this position is scheduled for Monday - Friday, 6 : 00pm - 2 : 30am.
