Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler to join our team. This role involves working in a high-volume warehouse environment, where you will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving trailers, and managing inventory using advanced tools and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Move trailers within the warehouse premises.
• Cross-train in receiving and shipping processes.
• Utilize RF scanners and computer systems to update inventory records.
• Handle paperwork and prepare shipments accurately.

Work Environment

The role is based in a smaller warehouse with two docks, characterized by high volumes of freight movement. The distribution center operates three shifts, emphasizing flexibility with work hours to meet business demands. The team is small and cooperative, with one employee working closely with the Warehouse Manager.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boardman, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00 / hr.
