Employment Litigaiton Associate Attorney - Los Angeles, CA

Renowned mid-sized law firm is in search of accomplished associates with a minimum of 3 years' experience to join its dynamic Employment Law team on the defense side in Los Angeles.

We are seeking applicants with a background in employment litigation, outstanding academic credentials, a comprehensive understanding of State and Federal fair employment laws, wage-hour laws, FMLA, and related legislation.

Coming to work with a solid work ethic, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork will be critical factors for success in this position.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a lawyer wanting to take the next step forward in their career and join an established and successful employment law team! This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring three days in the office.

• Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies
• Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
• Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action
• Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions
• Draft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Communicate with partners, associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an employment litigator.
• Strong academic background and excellent credentials.
• Ability to take on significant responsibilities with minimal detailed guidance.
• Solid work ethic and a passion for advocacy.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Team player with a passion for advocacy.
