Job Summary
Responsible for monitoring and directing the non-gaming operations at Vanderpump Hotel (Food & Beverage, Hotel Operations, and Retail).
How You Will Create The Extraordinary
- Lead organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies.
- Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks.
- Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behavior.
- Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where team members feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct.
- Sets operational goals, budgets and business plans, and monitors achievement of performance and profit objectives
- Advises the General Manager regarding analyses of operating results, costs, budgets and forecasts
- Creates and ensures an entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount
- Provides an operations insight into strategies planning in support of brand initiatives
- Develop short- and long-range plans (revenue, expense, capital, promotional service) in all areas
- Coordinates responsible departments with other departments including marketing, to ensure total gust satisfaction and efficient operation
What You Will Need
Must be 21 years of age or olderBachelor's degree in business or related field is preferred.Minimum of ten to fifteen years' diverse business experience is preferred with significant administrative responsibilities in a major corporation with multiple units and locations.Minimum of 5 years of progressively more challenging role and demonstrated leadership ability, preferably in Casino operations preferred.Proven ability to provide direction and motivate Team Members through superb team leadership, development and partnering abilities and abilities to handle multiple tasks and deploy resources effectively.Must have a demonstrated ability to quickly evaluate options and make decisions which positively influence both short and long-term business objectives.Must be relationship-oriented, be a person of stature and credibility who will take an active role in customer development, industry participation, and dealings with governmental and regulatory agencies.Proven ability to set the goals and vision for the operating organization, anticipating changes and opportunities having potential impact on growth and profitability.Ability to respond calmly and make rational decisions when required.Ability to prepare, understand, and analyze Budget and P&L Statements.Proven managerial and critical thinking skills required.Must possess excellent customer service and Team Member relations skills.Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Access and Microsoft Outlook.Additional Requirements
