Credit Manager

As a Credit Manager at Crescent Electric, you are responsible for obtaining credit information for new customers, assisting with credit collections and keeping management informed on credit status of customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES :

Gather credit information on potential new accounts.

Contact customers regarding past due balances.

Deposit any incoming checks or forward onto the General Office.

Make cash sale deposits and follow up on any discrepancies.

Research debit memos and unapplied credits.

Issue credits to customers when necessary or make any corrections to customer billing.

Correspond with customers on billing discrepancies.

Direct all work performed in the unit or department.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting from four-year college or university; or 4+ years previous credit or accounting experience and / or training;

or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Good math skills, strong communication skills, organized, accurate and assertive.
