Responsibilities :
Oversee and manage patient scheduling across multiple locations, ensuring provider efficiency and patient satisfaction using Dentrix Ascend, Open Dental or similar software.
Lead front office operations , streamlining patient check-in / check-out, documentation accuracy, and workflow coordination.
Be the primary point of contact for patient inquiries, providing clear and compassionate communication regarding treatments, financial policies, and appointment logistics.
Maintain meticulous patient records , ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Coordinate with providers, treatment coordinators, and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality care.
Train and mentor junior receptionists and administrative staff , fostering a culture of professionalism and exceptional service.
Optimize scheduling strategies to maximize provider productivity while keeping wait times minimal.
Qualifications :
5+ years of experience in dental reception, front office administration, or a similar senior role.
Proficient in dental office software ( Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental ).
Strong leadership skills , with the ability to train, mentor, and oversee front office staff.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities to handle high-volume, fast-paced environments confidently.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with a warm, patient-first mindset.
