We are currently seeking a Loan Recovery Specialist to join our Recovery Team. Centralized Recovery Group is integrated with the Consumer Collection Center at Zions Bancorporation.

The CRG department is responsible for the collection, tracking, and reporting of most all Zions Bancorporation's charge off accounts. These include Installment, Bankcard, Commercial, R / E, SBA, and Operational. Operational matters include fraud matters and defalcations. CRG is committed to maintaining a high level of compliance with consumer protection laws and regulations, anti-discrimination laws and regulations, and any other applicable federal, state, and local laws.

As a Recovery Specialist your contributions will have a direct impact on the Banks profitability and success.

The Recovery Specialist will :

• Ensure charged-off loan accounts are actively collected and / or adjusted to minimize financial losses.
• Review credit reports and other financial data to evaluate recovery prospects for delinquent or high-balance accounts.
• Prepare comprehensive legal action packets and collaborate with both in-house and external legal counsel to pursue recovery through legal channels.
• Follow established procedures to maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Contact clients to request payment and negotiate acceptable payment arrangements for charged-off accounts.
• Meet with clients in challenging financial situations to negotiate settlements, submit documentation, and obtain management approvals.
• Analyze financial statements of individuals and businesses to determine appropriate workout programs and repayment capacity.
• Conduct skip tracing to locate clients and continue collection efforts.
• Prepare and submit status reports to management as required.
• Recommend loans for liquidation through foreclosure when recovery is not feasible.
• Perform other duties as needed to support the recovery process and reduce charge-off impact.
