The Georgia Baptist College of Nursing seeks an Assistant Director of Admissions on the Atlanta campus.
Responsibilities :
The Assistant Director of Admissions oversees activities to recruit, admit, and enroll academically qualified students for all nursing degree programs.
Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Assistant Director is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic plan to meet established enrollment goals and assisting with recruitment activities.
The Assistant Director will contribute new ideas or assist in refining the existing strategies to enhance admissions and recruitment, including state, regional, and national recruitment plans and marketing / advertising of the programs.
This person will oversee new student recruitment initiatives, which include presentations to groups managing the recruitment calendar, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
The Assistant Director will also oversee data management processes and assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining the admissions CRM.
The Assistant Director supports the supervision and coordination of student ambassadors, counselors, work-study student(s), and other duties the Director assigns.
Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university and one year of prior professional experience in admissions / enrollment management or closely related areas are required.
Candidates should have comprehensive computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, internet, email, and social media.
Candidates should have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier as this position requires some travel.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :
Ability to communicate effectively to various audiences, manage workload independently, multi-task, motivated to learn, detail-oriented, superior customer service and organizational skills, ability to think critically and solve problems efficiently.
Knowledge of college admissions. Previous CRM experience is preferred; previous admissions and recruitment in nursing are preferred.
Ability to convey the nursing admissions requirements and serve as a College of Nursing representative. Expertise in working with diverse populations.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare, proofread, and edit clear, concise, and grammatically correct documents.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to evaluate data, formulate logical recommendations, and make decisions.
Must be able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks / projects and complete tasks accurately and efficiently, achieving goals and deadlines.
Model professional behavior for nursing students; maintain highly effective working relationships and appropriate boundaries with internal and external constituents.
