Managing Director Location : Denver, CO (In-office)
Reports to : Head of Advisor Services
As the Managing Director, you are the needle mover for new advisors joining our firm. You will recruit, onboard, train, and develop financial professionals—building a thriving team that drives production, growth, and culture.
This is a 1099 leadership role operating under the MassMutual Career Contract, offering base compensation plus performance-based earnings and access to a full benefits package.
Responsibilities
- Build & Lead a Team : Recruit and select top talent through the 10-Step Stellarix Recruiting Process; expand and manage a high-performing group of advisors.
- Train & Develop : Oversee onboarding, deliver training sessions, and build predictable calendars that drive advisor success.
- Drive Growth : Lead your market to year-over-year gains in Life, Disability, LTC, Financial Planning Fees, and GDC production.
- Coach & Motivate : Conduct one-on-ones, goal-setting meetings, and performance coaching to drive accountability and results.
- Elevate Culture : Create a competitive, engaged, in-office environment that attracts and retains top talent.
- Uphold Standards : Maintain full compliance and professional excellence while modeling the firm’s core values.
Qualifications
Proven production record and experience developing high-performing advisorsLife & Health Insurance LicensesCFP, Series 7 & 66 (IA-Rep with MMLIS)Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skillsAble to hold polished, strategic conversations in sophisticated, high-net-worth and executive settingsDemonstrated maturity, sound judgment, and professional presence in all settingsMust provide three professional references prior to offerCompensation & Benefits
Base Compensation : $70,000–$125,000Incentives : Competitive growth overrides and performance bonuses based on production milestones and year-over-year growthBenefits available through the MassMutual Career Contract, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k)Application Requirements
