Sitemetric seeks a bar-raising Workforce Data Analyst to build, manage, scale, and improve our workforce analytics function to deliver actionable insights across the organization. This professional will collect, transform, and interpret workforce data to enhance hiring efficiency, retention, productivity, and overall business performance, partnering closely with multiple Sitemetric departments and Executive Leadership.

About the Role
As Workforce Data Analyst , you will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling the workforce analytics function to deliver actionable insights across the organization. This role plays a vital part in collecting, transforming, and interpreting workforce data to improve hiring efficiency, retention, productivity, and overall business performance.
In the bigger picture, you will partner closely with Sitemetric’s People Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to develop data-driven strategies that enhance decision-making and resource allocation. This position requires someone eager to establish new data infrastructure, define KPIs, and create reporting dashboards that will serve as the foundation for long-term analytics maturity.
Overall, the role demands intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, and the ability to translate complex workforce metrics into simple, strategic recommendations that influence leadership and drive results in a fast-changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
This position involves key responsibilities in the following areas :
- Data definitions and integrity : Establish data definitions, reporting cadences, and KPIs for metrics such as headcount, attrition, hiring velocity, time-to-fill, and labor utilization. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and completeness across all reporting systems.
 - Models, pipelines, and dashboards : Build scalable data models and pipelines to integrate information from HRIS, ATS, scheduling, and operational systems. Design and maintain workforce dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. Enhance dashboard design with input from internal stakeholders.
 - Workflows and processes : Develop automated workflows to reduce manual reporting and enhance accessibility for stakeholders. Document processes and establish SOPs to ensure data continuity and repeatability across functions.
 - Analysis and insights : Analyze workforce trends, turnover, performance, and productivity to identify opportunities for efficiency and retention improvements. Provide actionable, data-driven insights based on dashboards and other sources to support budgeting, forecasting, and labor cost optimization.
 - Reports and presentations : Prepare and deliver clear, visualized reports and executive-level presentations that influence strategic workforce planning decisions.
 - Cross-department collaboration : Partner with Talent and Operations leaders to forecast hiring needs and track workforce capacity against project demand. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to align workforce analytics with company objectives. Serve as key point of contact for workforce reporting questions, ad hoc requests, and data validation. Mentor internal stakeholders on interpreting dashboards and leveraging data insights in everyday decisions.
 - Best practices and continuous improvement : Lead establishment of workforce analytics best practices, governance, and data hygiene standards. Identify technology or process gaps and propose solutions to improve reporting efficiency.

You will be expected to :
Develop accurate, reliable, user-friendly, and visually engaging dashboards and reports within the first 60–90 days.Build and maintain scalable workforce datasets with high data integrity.Deliver accurate, on-time reporting and proactive insights to leadership.Partner effectively with internal teams to improve workforce planning and efficiency.Demonstrate ownership, innovation, and accountability in building this function from the ground up.Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, HR, Economics, or related field (Master’s a plus).5+ years of experience in data analytics, workforce planning, or HR analytics.Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) and SQL or data-querying languages.Strong Excel and data visualization skills; familiarity with HRIS or ATS data preferred (ADP, Workday, Greenhouse, etc.).Proven ability to translate data findings into clear, business-relevant insights.Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and documentation skills.Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and can build from scratch.Excellent communicator capable of influencing across all levels of the organization.Perks & Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position in Texas ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and jobsite upon which work is being performed, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience.
