Job Description

Sitemetric seeks a bar-raising Workforce Data Analyst to build, manage, scale, and improve our workforce analytics function to deliver actionable insights across the organization. This professional will collect, transform, and interpret workforce data to enhance hiring efficiency, retention, productivity, and overall business performance, partnering closely with multiple Sitemetric departments and Executive Leadership.

We are looking for a Workforce Data Analyst who takes pride in serving a critical role in construction and shows up each day with a positive attitude and desire to have impact with a market-leading business. If you are a self-starting, service- and detail-minded team player who wants to be part of a fast-growing, innovative company that’s changing how the construction industry operates, you will flourish with Sitemetric.

About Sitemetric

At Sitemetric, we turn technology into services that transform how the world is built.

This enables our customers to lead the change in critical areas of construction operations : workforce, safety, security, reporting, communications, logistics, and more.

We work closely with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and construction workers to customize offerings to their needs, including digital onboarding, smart badging, real-time location systems, messaging and mass texting, integrated turnstiles, real-time reporting, emergency mustering, and more.

We currently serve as trusted partner to a growing number of the US’s largest, most forward-looking owners and contractors, working with them to ensure what we offer meets their evolving needs, with thousands of companies and workers already on the Sitemetric platform. Together, we are leading the change in how the world is built.

About the Role

As Workforce Data Analyst , you will be responsible for building, managing, and scaling the workforce analytics function to deliver actionable insights across the organization. This role plays a vital part in collecting, transforming, and interpreting workforce data to improve hiring efficiency, retention, productivity, and overall business performance.

In the bigger picture, you will partner closely with Sitemetric’s People Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to develop data-driven strategies that enhance decision-making and resource allocation. This position requires someone eager to establish new data infrastructure, define KPIs, and create reporting dashboards that will serve as the foundation for long-term analytics maturity.

Overall, the role demands intellectual curiosity, analytical rigor, and the ability to translate complex workforce metrics into simple, strategic recommendations that influence leadership and drive results in a fast-changing environment.

  • Analysis and insights : Analyze workforce trends, turnover, performance, and productivity to identify opportunities for efficiency and retention improvements. Provide actionable, data-driven insights based on dashboards and other sources to support budgeting, forecasting, and labor cost optimization.
  • Reports and presentations : Prepare and deliver clear, visualized reports and executive-level presentations that influence strategic workforce planning decisions.
  • Cross-department collaboration : Partner with Talent and Operations leaders to forecast hiring needs and track workforce capacity against project demand. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams to align workforce analytics with company objectives. Serve as key point of contact for workforce reporting questions, ad hoc requests, and data validation. Mentor internal stakeholders on interpreting dashboards and leveraging data insights in everyday decisions.
  • Best practices and continuous improvement : Lead establishment of workforce analytics best practices, governance, and data hygiene standards. Identify technology or process gaps and propose solutions to improve reporting efficiency.

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, workforce planning, or HR analytics.
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) and SQL or data-querying languages.
  • Strong Excel and data visualization skills; familiarity with HRIS or ATS data preferred (ADP, Workday, Greenhouse, etc.).
  • Proven ability to translate data findings into clear, business-relevant insights.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and can build from scratch.
  • Excellent communicator capable of influencing across all levels of the organization.
