Your Role on the Team

Position Summary :

Reporting to the Parking Operations Manager, the Parking Office Customer Service Representative Assistant II, will support the Unit Lead for the Parking Office serving as a resource to other staff by providing immediate problem solving and work priority decisions for Parking Office staff. Incumbent will also serve as the Parking Citation Adjudicator, and Parking Special Events Coordinator. Provides information (rules and regulations) on the phone and in person regarding parking programs, citation adjudication, and the CAR program. Sells parking permits and CAR products such as bus and rail passes, processes payments for parking citations, provides cashiering functions including shift opening and closeout making daily revenue deposits as needed. Will process interdepartmental billing and perform other Duties as assigned.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications :

• Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel and Access
• Knowledge of parking regulations / laws of enforcement and the appeal process
• Ability to effectively deal with emotional / difficult guest behaviors
• Ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to appropriately deal with stressful situations and individuals while remaining calm and professional
