PrimaryResponsibilitiesInclude :

• Engagewith current and prospective parents and familymembers
• Complywith governmental regulations regarding the care ofchildren
• Understandresponsibilities as a mandatedreporter
• Keepthe Director informed of any necessary information regarding thecare and safety ofchildren
• Completetimely and accurate documentation and other licensing or regulationrequirements
• Usetime wisely and take initiative whenappropriate
• Assistand accept responsibilities in other daily center duties that mightbe temporary in the event other personnel are notavailable
• Attendand participate in staff meetings center events and parent / customermeetings asrequired
• Followprocedures and policies as stated in the handbook and employeemanual
• Demonstrateknowledge of and model understanding of philosophy including ourcurriculum
• Maintainaccreditation standards and licensing regulations at alltimes
• Greetchildren and parents daily at drop off and pickup
• Be asupportive and contributing member of theteam
• Demonstrateinitiative in decisionmaking; i.e. transitions classroom managementcrisismanagement
• Provideappropriate role modeling to fellow staffmembers
• Consistentlydemonstrate a positive and professionalattitude
• Adhereto and act in line with company mission and values at alltimes
• Maybe called upon for offsite activities related to team building withcoworkers
• Meetalldeadlines

SuccessfulCandidates Must HaveO ne of theFollowing :

• Masters degree in education and six ECE credits AND one year ofexperience
• Masters degree in any field other than Education AND nine ECE credits and one year ofexperience
• Bachelors degree in Education Psychology Healthcare Nursing or any otherfield related to Childhood Growth and Development;

or teachingcertification from Department of Educationin Elementary Education Nursery School Preschool through thirdgrade (P3) or Teacher of the Handicapped AND sixECE credits and two years ofexperience

• Bachelorsdegree in any other field than those listed above AND nine ECE credits or six ECE credits and fouryears ofexperience
• Teachingcertification from Department of Education in a field other thanthose listed above AND nine ECE credits andthree years of experience or six ECE credits and four years ofexperience
• Montessorieducation equivalent to a Bachelor s degree AND two years ofexperience
• HeadTeacher endorsement from the New Jersey Registry for ChildhoodProfessionals Professional Impact NewJersey
