Location : Chicago, IL- Hybrid - 3 days onsite a week

Project Overview / Contractor's Role :

The Technical Lead will serve as a key partner to product owners and business leaders, ensuring accountability for system stability, delivery excellence, and architectural integrity across multiple initiatives. This individual will provide technical leadership, guide engineering practices, and drive high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions that align with enterprise strategy.

This role combines strategic architectural direction with hands-on technical leadership. By ensuring stability, scalability, and adherence to engineering best practices, the Technical Lead plays a critical role in aligning technology delivery with business outcomes.

Qualifications / Skills :

• 15+ years of software engineering and architectural experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and modern integration and deployment patterns.
• Define and deliver a large enterprise-scale big data ecosystem; evaluate existing data architecture and work with the team members to continuously enhance and evolve the data technology stack.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, manage priorities, and drive system stability and delivery outcomes.
• Strong understanding of risk management, security, and compliance within regulated industries (financial services preferred).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills.
