They are in the process of expanding their operations and are seeking a skilled Junior Mechanical / Piping Designer to join their dynamic team.
This role offers the chance to contribute to groundbreaking projects in the Oil & Gas and other commercial industries.
What You'll Do :
- Prepare general arrangement and detailed mechanical and piping design drawings and sketches using advanced 3D modeling software.
- Work alongside Engineers to optimize equipment layout and mechanical and piping designs.
- Provide crucial drafting support during piping and P&ID reviews.
- Develop piping isometrics and fabrication drawings from existing coordination drawings.
- Participate in planning and scheduling tasks and maintain design procedures and standards to ensure high-quality design documents.
- Apply mathematical modeling techniques to evaluate and optimize the cost-effectiveness of new developments and innovations.
- Continuously modify and retest designs to meet client and project specifications.
Who You Are :
- You have 2-8 years of CAD experience, ideally with a background in the Oil & Gas or similar commercial industries.
- Proficiency in generating P&IDs and experienced with CadWorx.
- Familiar with 3D design principles and practices.
- Capable of effective client interaction and collaboration.
- A proactive team player who is eager to contribute to complex projects and learn in a dynamic environment.
