Position Summary :
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Treasury Accountant to manage and optimize our company’s cash flow, banking relationships, tax and treasury operations.
- This role is responsible for ensuring accurate cash forecasting, liquidity management, and compliance with financial policies.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, a deep understanding of treasury functions, and a proactive approach to financial risk management. Key Responsibilities :
Monitor daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity across all accounts. Responsible for ensuring tax compliance and maintaining working knowledge of payroll taxes, sales taxes, corporate, and other applicable taxes. Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts. Manage banking relationships and ensure optimal utilization of banking services. Execute wire transfers, ACH payments, and other treasury transactions accurately. Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Support month-end and year-end close processes related to cash and treasury activities. Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures. Analyze and report on cash flow trends, variances, and financial risks. Collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams to support business initiatives. This role will directly report to CFO. Maintain documentation for treasury transactions and support audit requests. Evaluate and recommend improvements to treasury systems and processes. Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CTP certification preferred). 3–5 years of experience in treasury, taxation, accounting, or corporate finance. Strong understanding of cash management, banking operations, and financial controls. Proficiency in Excel and financial systems (e.g., ERP, Vista, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, treasury management software, etc.). Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
