Business Development Manager (Litigation)
Location : New York, NY | Hybrid (3 Days In-Office) Full-Time | Exempt Salary : $150,000 - $175,000+ (Commensurate with Experience)
What You'll Do :
- Lead business development efforts for the litigation practice , working closely with key partners and the broader BD team.
- Oversee strategy for pitches, credentials, thought leadership, and litigation league table submissions (no RFP responsibility).
- Provide competitive insights and market intelligence to guide positioning and client targeting.
- Serve as a strategic partner to attorneys and integrate cross-practice marketing initiatives.
- Track ROI on business development efforts and report outcomes to leadership.
What You'll Bring :
At least 5 years of litigation business development or marketing experience in a law firm.Deep understanding of litigation trends, client expectations, and market positioning.Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.Proven ability to lead projects independently and think proactively.Bachelor's degree required; JD or legal marketing experience highly preferred.Strong candidates at the Senior Specialist level will be considered.
