CPA Director of External Reporting

A company is looking for a Director of External Reporting to lead financial statement preparation and disclosures for stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of external financial statements and disclosures under U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations

Manage quarterly and annual close processes, including consolidation and account reconciliations

Coordinate with auditors and internal teams to ensure timely completion of audits and develop reporting policies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required

10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Big 4 public accounting and private company experience

Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements

Experience with XBRL tagging and preparation of 10-K / 10-Q filings

Prior experience with IPO readiness or SOX compliance preferred
