What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting staff, patients, and visitors as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for all occupants. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to established protocols. Work collaboratively with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and support a positive experience for all individuals at the location. Minimum Requirements : Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Applicants may be required to provide proof of vaccination for hospital assignments. Applicants may be required to work in hospital morgue settings. Applicants may be required to restrain individuals in hospital settings. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
