About the job Healthcare Recruiter

Intercare Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Healthcare Recruiter to join their team. This is a remote opportunity 100% commission based.

As a Healthcare Recruiter, your primary responsibility will be to attract, screen, and select qualified healthcare professionals to fill various positions within the healthcare organization.

You will work closely with hiring managers and human resources teams to identify staffing needs, develop recruitment strategies, and ensure the timely acquisition of talented healthcare professionals.

Your role will involve sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, assessing qualifications, and facilitating the hiring process.

Additionally, you will maintain relationships with candidates, collaborate with external recruitment agencies, and contribute to overall talent acquisition initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Recruitment Strategy Development : Collaborate with hiring managers and human resources teams to understand staffing requirements, develop recruitment strategies, and establish hiring plans to meet organizational goals.
  • Candidate Sourcing : Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, professional networks, referrals, and direct outreach to identify and attract qualified healthcare professionals.
  • Screening and Selection : Review resumes, assess applications, and conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates' skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.

Recommend top candidates to hiring managers for further evaluation.

Interview Coordination : Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring timely communication and a smooth interview process.

Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the interview process.

Candidate Evaluation : Assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and credentials to ensure they meet the required standards and regulatory requirements.

Verify professional licenses, certifications, and other necessary credentials.

  • Relationship Management : Maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers : Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific requirements, provide guidance on best recruitment practices, and facilitate effective decision-making throughout the selection process.
  • Recruitment Metrics and Reporting : Track and analyze recruitment data, including sourcing channels, candidate pipelines, time-to-fill, and other relevant metrics.

Prepare regular reports to measure recruitment effectiveness and provide recommendations for process improvement.

  • Collaboration with External Partners : Collaborate with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and other industry partners to expand the candidate pool, leverage their networks, and enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Compliance and Documentation : Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, interview feedback, and other recruitment-related documentation.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Proven experience as a healthcare recruiter or in a similar talent acquisition role within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare roles, qualifications, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Familiarity with recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Understanding of relevant labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
