Staff Accountant - Hybrid Sarasota, FL

Sangoma is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a key member of the accounting department, you will assist in various accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting. Your Role :

• Maintain accurate financial records by performing daily accounting tasks.
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all transactions are recorded in compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
• Support the audit process by gathering necessary documentation and providing clear explanations of financial data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting inquiries and provide financial guidance.
• Stay updated on accounting best practices and changes in GAAP to maintain compliance.
