Touchmark at Emerald Lake is a suburban oasis on 80 green acres with a private 11-acre spring-fed lake in McKinney, Texas.

As Executive Director, you will lead the marketing efforts of the campus, its services, and its staff. you will develop, direct, and continuously evaluate the overall operations of the community, which include dining operations, health services, wellness programs, and building services.

If you are an experienced Executive Director with experience as a Regional operator or large CCRC (continuing care community) and have experience with new developments, we would love to speak with you about this unique opportunity!

Qualifications :

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field; an advanced degree a plus
  • 5+ years experience as a Regional Operations Director or an Executive Director / Administrator of a Large CCRC. Experience with new construction and lease-up preferred.
  • A proven record of solid financial management and budget control, as well as full P&L accountability
  • Experience with pre-sales and opening a property (desirable)
  • Experience leading sales teams and sales efforts

Primary responsibilities :

  • Pass regulatory surveys without major deficiencies and meet or exceed all State and Federal regulatory requirements
  • Maintain a safe environment for residents and staff as determined by no regulatory violations or unresolved written customer complaints or unresolved written grievances from staff.
  • Consistently meet cash flow and profitability standards
  • Reinforce, model, and make decisions in accordance with the Touchmark Mission and Values.
  • Ensure that the community adheres to the Touchmark Gold Standard in every aspect of the operation.
  • Hire, train, and lead staff to fulfill the Touchmark mission and achieve operational objectives.
  • Champion, train, and continually reinforce a culture of hospitality and service excellence.
  • Plan, develop, evaluate, implement, and enforce community policies as approved by Touchmark.
  • Plan, organize, and lead the staff to produce resident satisfaction, positive cash flows, and profitability.
  • Ensure residents’ rights are upheld to the highest standards.
  • Maintain a safe, appealing, and clean environment for residents and staff that meets or exceeds regulatory requirements.
  • Establish agreements and contracts as necessary to assure uncompromising delivery of services.
  • Follow expense authorization procedures when making purchases or commitments.
  • Delegate appropriately to ensure the growth of the staff while maintaining accountability.
  • Ensure that team members are empowered to provide outstanding hospitality and service.
  • Responsible for the completion, storage, and submission of reports and records as necessary to meet regulatory and management requirements.
